HOW I SEE IT

My blogs are mostly about activities Downunder, read them with an open mind, as they are meant to expose as well as inform, read into them as you will, send me an email, give me your gut feeling. if there is a subject you would like me to comment on, please tell me, send me a note.

This was written when Labour was in Power before the September elections.

How i see it,
Why should the People of Australia pay for the mistakes of Companies who have polluted this Country for generations and received healthy profits, for there blundering pollution making decisions.
Pollution has not been a major priority in their decisions, if it was we would not have a pollution problem now.

The CEOs enjoy the massive profits and benefits from there selfish decisions, if any-one should pay to fix the environment it should be them.

They make decisions to make greater profits for their shareholders and themselves, not necessary for the good of the Country, it is all about profits, and there fat pay packet.

Average Australians have no say in how the environment is abused by Large Companies, we are like sheep and take what we are given, but have to pick up the pieces after the damage is done, thinking like a Polly just tax the poor.

As a young boy we had candles and lanterns, no electricity, no refrigerator, no toaster, no Microwave thank God, ok now we are stuck with this big Pollution problem, how should we fix the problem, not by taxing people, let’s start thinking smarter, I'm not a polluter i don't even smoke.

I remember the days when there was a corner shop, now we all have to drive to a Supermarket, CEOs working through our State and local governments destroyed a good way of life for many average people, all in the name of big profits for big Supermarkets, they have monopolized the way we shop, and the price of food is increasing continuously, I  remember the days when a truck was driven around our streets with fresh vegetables, Milk was delivered to our door in bulk scooped into container at your front door, my Mother would buy food in Bulk, like a 20 Kilo bag of potatoes, and they would sit there for a Month, now buying them from the Supermarkets they go rotten in a week, sometimes they are bad inside when you buy them, and they are full of eyes, what the Supermarkets are doing to us is criminal, but people today don't know what is being forced on to them. they don't know how good food was in the past. Now it comes in plastic or a packet with small writing you can NOT read, because it is crap full of preservatives and sugar.

Singapore, they have a shop on every railway Station, people shop every day as they step off the train to go home, no need to drive to a Supermarket, Why don’t we build our shops on the Rail Station, there is enough vacant land, also build large blocks of Units for the homeless or Pensioners,on or close to Rail Stations, this will reduce the driving to Shopping Centers. then we wouldn't have to pay to park a car.

We don’t have to go back to what elderly people call the good old days, living as they did, but let’s stop and think, what we can do to make our environment better. STOP and think before we bullhead our way forward just for money, we all now have to cut back and make better decisions, this is not just directed at the average man on the street, but also our so called leaders, we rely on them to lead us, what a joke.

We should be looking up to our Leaders but that is almost impossible as they make more mistakes than all the people put together. if we can-not look to our Leaders for good judgment and decisions then who is there to guide us.
Polly’s make their judgments by being opposite to their opposition parties,  It does not matter if it is a good decision, so long as they can get votes, they also lie to get votes , so with no respect from the People how can we be expected to make good decisions or trust those in senior positions in our community.

leaders around the world are no better, Africa for example, you can see what they have done to there people, there greed for power and money, good we don’t have dictators openly as they do, but our Polly’s are dictators, when they get voted in they change the rules,  and the policies they get voted in for,  can you make sense of that ?.

We start life without being able to make our own decisions, depending on our parents to bring us up, some babies are luckier than others, depending on the wealth of our parents, and there education, some babies are born with stupid Parents, the poor kid doesn’t have much chance in the future if this is the case, some make good but its a hard climb, others are born with parents who are druggies.

Well you can now see the balance is not equally, then we go to school some to Public schools some to private, are you getting the picture, depending on your Parents Wealth, or a good parent who will work there gut to educate you, being poor the elements are against you from the start.

The Wealthier have a greater opportunity to make the Major decisions, they are not necessary the brains of this Country, but they have greater opportunity to get the better jobs, and knowing what a mess the world is in, how smart are they, having a good education may not always be for the better, but maybe it will make you wealthier. yes some poor kids grow up and make good as far as wealth is concerned, but the odds will be against them, money and education go together, in India they call it class, as i child at school i would hear the word CLASS, what class room was i in etc. now i understand the true meaning, prove me wrong i would like to see the results, an Indian Taxi Driver educated me about class
